MICROFLUIDICS FOR PHYSICS, CHEMISTRY & BIOLOGY
DECEMBER 11, 2009
In the last decade, microfluidics has become a key tool for experimentation in physics, chemistry, and biology. The scope of this one day symposium is to present recent studies in these three fields where microfluidic systems have been used to solve fundamental questions.
This symposium mainly addresses researchers, postdoc and PhD students in physics, chemistry or biology. No background in microfluidics is needed.
We selected four invited talks (45 mins) and four short contributions (20mins) according to their impact and to their originality.
Talks:
- Abe Strook (Cornell)
- Dieter Braun (Munchen)
- Seth Fraden (Brandeis)
- Patrick Doyle (MIT)
Short talks:
- Dirk Aartz (Oxford)
- Pascal Hersen (MSC Paris)
- Jacques Leng (LOF, Bordeaux)
- Christophe Ybert (LPMCN, Lyon)
