The Pierre-Gilles de Gennes Foundation for Research is happy to invite you to participate in the Workshop that will be held on April 6 & 7 at the ENS, and will bring together researchers from the Foundation (ESPCI, IBPC, ENS, Institut Curie)
This event is aimed to encourage the sharing of knowledge and demonstrate the potential of multidisciplinary research projects. That is why the workshop will not be focused on one single subject but, on the contrary, will count conferences and speeches concerning different thematics depending on the main field of each participant.
For the Foundation, this is the occasion to give a feedback on what we have done over the past two years, what results have been achieved. It will also be an opportunity to discuss about which new challenges could be addressed in the future.
The “Rencontres de la Montagne Sainte Geneviève” will allow researchers to present their work to the entire scientific community of the Foundation selected short communications will be given, complemented by invited plenary lectures. (see the Programhere)
On this occasion you can share your research with the entire network during presentations of 15 minutes in plenary. You can also choose to display your abstract as a poster. Tuesday and Wednesday time slots will be devoted entirely to these conferences.
On Tuesday, April 6, the Institute of Physico-Chemical Biology and the Foundation Pierre-Gilles de Gennes for Research will also award the PIERRE-GILLES DE GENNES PRIZE, which amounts to 8000 €. All the young researchers working in the field of Physico-Chemical Biology who graduated in the years 2008 and 2009 are strongly invited to submit their application.
