The beneficial use of scientific results

The beneficial use of the scientific results of the work performed by the research teams can be handled directly by the partners and the public agencies. 
However, the Foundation may still work with the industrial partner or the academic researcher in the following three areas:

 

The creation of consortiums

The Foundation may enable the creation of development consortiums, thereby facilitating fundraising or the acquisition of French or international subsidies.

Technology transfer

The Foundation may assist researchers in the establishment of a technology transfer.  The founding members who own the intellectual property:


• Appoint a single patent manager, who becomes the Foundation’s partner for the beneficial use of the invention, and

 

• Entrust the Foundation with the task of serving as a negotiator in dealings with the industrial partners

Support for promising ventures

The Foundation may provide support for newcomers, during the period between birth and the first round of financing, by enabling them to make progress toward the proof of concept of their innovative technology
